E2B L12 Unit 12 Please and thank you

C. Would like

口語常把I would一起唸做I’d。

a. I’d like + N

I’d like a cup of coffee, please.

I’d like some roast beef, please.

b. I’d like to + V1

I’d like to buy a dictionary.

I’d like to watch a movie.

Would you like + N…?

Would you like to + V1…?

Would you like a cup of tea?

Would you like to come to my party this weekend?

No, thanks.

D. Some/Any

I’d like some orange juice.

Do you have any questions? I don’t have any questions.

F. Like/Would like Questions

1. Do you like traveling? Yes, I like traveling.

2. Where do you like going? I like going to Japan.

3. Where would you like to go next? I’d like to go to Italy next.

4. Would you like to live in another country?

Yes, I would like to live in France. / No, I wouldn’t.

5. Would you like to live in England?

6. Do you like learning English?

B. Ordering a meal

rare 三分/medium 五分/ well done 全熟

What would you like?

How would you like your steak?

What would you like to drink?

Would you like anything else?

點菜時的句型可用I’d like … 或 I’ll have … ,或是Can I have …?

I’d like a steak.   I’ll have a cup of coffee.   Can I have a soup?
